Movie Plot : The 17-year-old Marva (Eva van der Gucht) is a regular competitor in song-contests, but always loses. In spite of that, her father keeps on dreaming about a singing career for her. When he doesn’t have a job for a short moment, he invents a plan to launch her career and to solve his money problems: he kidnaps the most successful singer of the country.

Movie Plot : Bruno DeClerq (Josse De Pauw) is a through and through honest family man who is a customhouse official who dreams about getting promotion he probably never will get. His brother Roger (Dirk Roofthooft) is the opposite in every way: a dubious business man who lives beyond his means and continuously deceives his wife. Both avoid each other as the plague. When mother DeClerq (Gert Portael) dies Roger can use the inheritance well: he got in financial needs after a dubious business trade and is threatened by a couple of heavy guys. Unfortunately: the fortune only is 1.500 USD. Bruno had a beautiful burial in his mind but Roger suggests a trip to the Ardennes. If he can persuade the good customhouse official to let through a cargo with drugs, it possibly has been a good investment...
