Movie Plot : In the year 2009 indications are found from the Maya-era which predict the end of the world as we know it at December 21st 2012 and is the start of a transformation to something new. Several people are followed at the end of 2012, in which people must learn how to handle natural calamities such as eruptions, melting glaciers and tornados.

Dick not only substantiates that this organization is in the hands of the big studios, but also has a big influence on the culture of America by showing certain things and others not. A homosexual scene for example is tackled harder than a similar heterosexual scene and sex in the general is treated more puritanical then violence scenes.

Movie Plot : After Steven Kovak (Matthew Broderick) is kicked out of his apartment by his girlfriend, he moves in a new apartment. He slips 50 dollars to Chip (Jim Carrey), an employee of the cable company, to get cable for free. Chip takes advantage of this opportunity to become Steven's best friend at all costs. When Steven is no longer interested in this friendship, Chip goes to the limits to ruin Steven's life.
