Movie Plot : Henry Durand (Colin Hanks) is a young FBI-agent who is put on a new case. He must spy on his libertine mother (Meg Ryan) and her new friend Tommy (Antonio Banderas), because they could be involved in an international art fraud.

Movie Plot : Tommy Vinson (Burt Reynolds) is an ex-gambler who sworn 30 years ago that he never would gamble anymore after not being there when a crisis situation occurred in the family. Tommy sees a young boy playing poker on the television, who reminds him of himself when he was young. This Alex Stillman (Bret Harrison) wants nothing rather than to become a pro poker player, but his parents rather like to see him continuing studying. Tommy gets in contact with Alex and makes a deal with him. If Alex exactly plays the way Tommy says, he will lead him to the larger tournaments. This initially goes well and Alex wins the one after the other game. When Alex and Tommy get a fight the cooperation seems to be over. In spite of the objections of Tommy's wife, he again has acquired a taste for playing poker and he decides to go to the tournaments with his way of playing poker. Both Tommy and Alex keep on playing that good that they both reach the end of the poker season. Tommy has to play against Alex, to reach the final.
