Movie Plot : November 1932: a group of rich guests arrives at the estate of Sir William McCordle (Michael Gambon) for a hunting party. In the meantime the new helper Mary (Kelly Macdonald) finds herself with the other domestic staff downstairs in the house, where an old-fashioned butler and a dominant housekeeper are reigning with very strict rules. Slowly Mary discovers that not everything is going the way it supposed to be in the household.
