Movie Plot : When each telephone conversation, messages and e-mail is checked, taped and analyzed, there is only one apparatus which can prevent this. Max Peterson (Shane West) got this device in his possession so he can do whatever he wants. The catch is however that everybody wants to have this device. Now Max has to fight to keep it in his possession.

Movie Plot : New York. Hi-tech is a concern with Kingsley as boss and that is specialized in conserving animals, which are threatened. They earn a lot of money with their virtual safari, where against payment, people can hunt on huge animals such as dinosaurs, after they are fired to the prehistory by a computer. Everything happens under strict rules. The participants wear special clothing, special weapons and are not allowed to leave the path they are walking on, and of which they have to hunt. When one of the participants leaves the path and brings back a shred of a butterfly on his shoe, he starts a chain reaction which threatens humanity without knowing. A team of experts must return to the prehistoric period. Only by putting back the remainder of the butterfly in that time, the total destruction of humanity can be prevented.

When it appears that the burned victims were killed, the media-eager detective Eddie Flemming (Robert De Niro) also joins the case. Together with Warsaw, Flemming goes after the psychopaths.
