Movie Plot : We find ourselves in a small community surrounded by cornfields in the hot and dusty south of Italy in the summer of 1978. While the adults hide inside for the scorching heat, six children take their bike and drive on the deserted countryside. Hidden between the corn the nine years old Michele discovers a secret so big and terrible so she don't dare to tell it to anyone. To face the confrontation he has to appeal to the power of his youthfully imagination and the courage of which he doesn't know yet he has got it...

Movie Plot : Italy 1938, Umberto is a tailor who has to stand by and watch how his neighbor Leone (also tailor) gets in much more customers by lower prices. In spite of that, his daughter is in love with Leone's son and their youngest sons are friends, Umberto's jealousy grow steadily. When he makes an annoying commentary concerning Leone's Jewish background, something what was formerly in fact unknown, brings Leone in problems.
