Movie Plot : The London banker Max Skinner (Russell Crowe) packs his work in and moves to the Provence in France, where he inherits a vintage of his uncle (Albert Finney). Once arrived in France, he meets the beautiful Fanny (Marion Cotillard), who claims to be a forgotten niece and has the rights to get the vintage.

Movie Plot : The machine from the title makes it able for the good-tempered brain surgeon (Depardieu) to change his brain with a woman killer (Bourdon) and vice-versa. The therapeutically meant experiment had to last only a couple minutes, but appears to be irreversible. Fiercely he does attempts to get used to his own body. From one moment to another he literally is no longer itself. The man’s wife (Baye) initially doesn’t notice anything, but finds herself inevitably in life danger.
