Movie Plot : Berlin 1943. The 9-year-old Bruno (Asa Butterfield) moves with his family to a remote spot, where there is nothing to do and nobody to play with. Their new house stands beside a fence which extends as far as the eye can see; a fence which screens of Bruno from the strange people he sees moving behind it. Bruno wants to become an explorer and decides to go on research. On one of his excursions he meets a boy whose live and circumstances differ a lot from his own. Nevertheless the boys become friends, but their friendship does not remain without impact…

Movie Plot : Michael Lynch (Kevin Spacey), a talented robber, is the most notorious criminal in Dublin. Movie Plot : The movie takes place in the poorest neighborhood of Glasgow. Over there Joe Kavanagh (Peter Mullan) is the coach of the most miserable football team for unemployed persons in all Scotland. Joe quitted drinking for a year and is going to the Alcoholics Anonymous. In the meantime he has no work, but tries to get in contact with the people of the social service as less as possible. During a small job he meets Sarah (Louise Goodall), a social worker. When the authorities come around she helps him out. She is charmed by Joe's raw character, and he is also charmed by her.
