Movie Plot : Just before the creation of humanity on Earth, a group of monkeys discovers a monolith. Four millions year later a similar object is discovered on the moon, which transmits a signal to Jupiter. Commander Bowman (Keir Dullea) and astronaut Poole (Gary Lockwood) take of for a special mission with their spaceship Discovery with the aid of supercomputer HAL-9000.
