Movie Plot : Georges, who is the host of a TV literary discussion, is receiving packages including videos of him and his family (in secret taped on the street) and alarming drawings of which the meaning is obscure. Georges has no idea who is sending him this packages. But bit-by-bit the bond between them becomes more and more personal, what suggests that he known the sender already for a long time. Georges feels that he and his family are in danger. The police however refuse to take action because there have not been any direct threat until now...

Movie Plot : Paris. The police force has to face a gang of heavily armed and violent robbers for some months now. The director of the judicial police force, Robert Mancini (André Dussollier) speaks clear language to his two inspectors, Léo Vrinks (Daniel Auteuil) and Denis Klein (Gérard Depardieu). He, who gets the gang, will become his continuator. The inspectors however have completely different characters and they both have their own ways of working as a result of which cooperation between the two goes everything but smoothly.
