Movie Plot : When the hated drill-sergeant Nathan West (Samuel L. Jackson) and six soldiers of his elite-unit disappear during a training mission in Panama, an investigation is started. Two commandos survive the mission, but they refuse to talk about what happened in the jungle. Former Army Ranger and current drug-agent Tom Hardy (John Travolta) is put on the case to get information out of the two soldiers. Pretty quickly he finds out that his own men kill Sergeant West, but the two soldiers make contradictory statements about who was responsible for the killing.

Movie Plot : Formula 1 champion Beau Brandenburg (Til Schweiger) gets a competitor for the new world title to be afraid of with the name Jimmy Bly (Kip Pardue). Joe Tanto (Sylvester Stallone), a racer whose career was prematurely ended by a heavy accident, gets the task to cram Jimmy for the competition. It is a competition which moreover is continued besides the track, because Beau and Jimmy also court the favours of the luxurious Sophia (Estella Warren).
