Movie Plot : An extremely extraordinary man (Larry David) runs into a young lady from the South. Shortly afterwards he meets her mother and then her father. All three they get involved, together with some crazy people of Greenwich Village, in a serial of improbable romantic entanglements.

Movie Plot : Lehiff earns money by committing small crimes. He is feverish looking for that one chance which will make it possible to commit the crime of his life, so he can rest for the rest of his life. But that is not counted on detective Jerry Lynch, who is even feverishly looking for an occasion to cross Lehiffs in his plans. Further we get acquainted with John who gives up his job in a supermarket to assist Lehiff in his attempts to win his girlfriend Deirdre back. Deirdre however thinks she recognized the man of her life in Sam, the married manager of the bank, which belongs to Lehiffs targets...
