Movie Plot : Nazneen Ahmed (Tannishtha Chatterjee) is a beautiful, young woman who leaves her beloved sister and home in Bangladesh in the 80’s for an arranged marriage in London. She finds herself already quickly between the four walls of a small apartment in a loveless marriage with Chanu (Satish Kaushik), a man of middle age. Her sister Hasina (Zafreen) in the meantime continues with her carefree life in Bangladesh and experiences the one adventure after the other. Nazneen can’t accept her life and keeps on waiting for that one day everything changes.

Movie Plot : In the near future it is only possible to leave the (heavily guarded) cities with a special driver-license. Outside these cities people (non citizens) are living in very limited and bad conditions. William is an insurance-inspector who has to investigate a case about forged traveling documents. Because of this he goes to another city, where he meets Maira. Despite her probable involvement with the forgery, he falls in love with her. But his traveling documents only grant him access to the city for 24 hours.
