Movie Plot : When Bennie (Jack Wouterse) is released from prison, he hears that his sick foster father (Jaak Van Assche) still has a last wish: he wants to meet his biological son Koen (Kurt Rogiers). Movie Plot : Rotterdam, the thirties. Bailiff Dreverhaven (Jan Decleir) is a powerful, feared man. She raises their son Katadreuffe (Fedja van Huêt) alone, whereas she refuses to accept something from Dreverhaven. These one decides to thwart his illegitimate son as much as possible to take revenge. Katadreuffe, after a number of setbacks, starts to work at a lawyer's office whereupon the fight between father and son even becomes more violent. A fateful climax is inevitable.
