Movie Plot : A New York teenager is obsessed by traditional kung-fu movies. One day he does an extraordinary discovery in Chinatown: he finds the legendary Ru Yi staff of the Chinese warrior, Sun Wukong 'the Monkey King' (Jet Li). With the imagined lost artefact in his hands, the teenager unexpectedly is sent back to the old China to learn the real meaning of kung-fu. There he meets martial-arts warriors to deliver Sun Wukong.
