Movie Plot : A high intelligence student with almost none sportive qualities, admires his grandfather who leads a company. His father also works for the company but has no say. Movie Plot : Sam (Danny DeVito) married Barbara (Bette Midler) for her father’s money, but the old man didn’t want to die. But now at last it is that far, his father-in-law died and now he can kill his wife in an atrocious way out of revenge for the years that he had to tolerate her. He however has to change his plan when it appears that she has been kidnapped. If he informs the police, they will kill her. He directly informs the press and the police, but the kidnappers do not keep their word. When his wife then also becomes friends with the kidnappers and start working together with them against Sam the situation only gets worse.

Movie Plot : Working student Win Beery (Beau Bridges) works in a hotel in Arbuthnot-by the-Sea. He has the summer of his life: he doesn’t only meet Mary (Lisa Banes), a girl from his place of birth on who he falls in love with. He also meets Freud (Wallace Shawn), an eccentric old man from Vienna who has an enormous bear as his travel companion. Freud sells his bear to Win and gives him the advice to marry and especially not give up his ideals. Years later Win and Mary are the proud parents of five children. The memory of that one summer however is still alive. When an old school is put for sale, Win wants to make a hotel from it: Hotel New Hampshire.
