Movie Plot : Phileas Fog (David Niven) is a very punctual man, who is driving a lot of butlers crazy. The new one, named Passepartout (Cantinflas) is hardly unpacked or he needs to pack again because Fog made a bet for £20.000 with some club members that he is able to make a trip around the world in 80 days.

Movie Plot : In 1862, the young British widow Anna and her son Louis in arrive Siam. She was appointed by the king to conduct the education of his many children, among which the throne continuator. The king also presents her to his many women who stay in his harem and also let her take care of their education. Anna fights against the ingrained habits and traditions, which sometimes are not only picturesque, but also barbaric. So she stands up for a slave that wants to escape because she has to become one of the women of the king. Fascinated as she is by this for unknown life, Anna gets persuaded by the king’s children not to return to United Kingdom.
