Movie Plot : Jerry Ferro (Adam Carolla) is almost 40-years-old and only did a little in his life. In his younger days he was a successful amateur boxer, but nowadays he is out of shape, drinks too much, and works as a construction worker. By means of his work as a construction worker Jerry end up at a boxing school in Pasadena where he becomes a part-time coach. One day Eddie Bell (Tom Quinn) one of Jerry's former friends, stops at the boxing school with a raging talent he trains. Because he has no sparring partner he asks Jerry. Although Jerry obviously is out of shape, he beats the challenger with one good placed punch knock out. Eddie is convinced that Jerry can make a comeback, and that he can get a place in the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team in spite of his age.

Movie Plot : Imogen and Al meet each other on college. Imogen wants to become an artist; Al wants to become a cook, just like his father. They fall in love with each other, but both have doubts. Imogen doesn’t want to lose her youth and doesn’t want to bind herself yet and Al thinks that she might not be the right one. Then she follows someone else to his house, and he also mess around with someone else. She leaves for a job to San Francisco and he has pangs of love and throws himself into alcohol. Will it still come ok with the two?
